Alaric first embraced polytheism in the summer of 1971. At that time he was introduced to the folk tradition of spellcasting and divination with playing cards. Over the past five decades, his personal spiritual practice has developed as a synthesis of Anglo-Saxon tradition, herbal studies and rune lore.
