David Fawcett PhD, LCSW is a psychotherapist and sex therapist who specializes in the sexualized drug use, LGBTQ issues, trauma and mental health concerns related to physical illness, especially HIV/AIDS. He is the author of “Lust, Men and Meth: A Gay Man’s Guide to Sex and Recovery” which explores the intersection of gay men, drug use, and high-risk sex and is also the author of Sex Under the Influence: Understanding and Healing from Sexualized Drug Use. He co-created the residential treatment program for compulsive sex, porn and chemsex behavior at Seeking Integrity in Los Angeles and is the Executive Producer of two documentaries about sexualized drug use. David frequently presents workshops around the world on topics concerning addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, particularly those related to long-term survivors of HIV.
