This is the counterpoint to the frantic moments, to being overwhelmed, to the arbitrary urgency, and the much-too-much.

During our short time together, try something different. Adopt anti-scurrying laws. Inhale slowly. Exhale with a sigh. Drop your shoulders. Relax the grimace.

Adjust your stride. Slow down. We're talking a minute, maybe two. Add sixty seconds to what you were doing before. Give yourself just a little bit of room. Practice inhabiting a different rhythm and pace. Taking your time is an expression of power.
