This week on Adventures of Des and Cort, the hot flashes are back and this time Cort has had enough of Des talking reckless about herself. Des insists her love language is shit talk, so technically she is just showing herself affection. Cort is not buying it. 🔥😅
Cort shares how a new show she and Josh are watching has him confidently believing he could break into someone’s house and leave without them ever knowing. Casual confidence. Mildly concerning. Very on brand for men. This leads them to the realization that if anyone actually did break into their homes, Des and Cort would be the ones throwing hands because these men sleep like the dead and wake up confused.
Des finally finished Mad Men and needs answers. Were women really wearing frilly nightgowns, robes and feather heels to bed or was that just TV nonsense? This turns into a full yap session about what we actually wear to sleep. Des is strictly business with her collared shirt energy while Cort is living her best shorts jumper life 😴
They also discover their mornings are wildly different. Josh will wander out in his underwear half asleep to get coffee while Cory is fully dressed before leaving the bedroom. Same species, two different morning routines.
Cort brings up a cosmetic procedure she read about that involves tissue from the deceased and absolutely cannot wrap her head around it. Des on the other hand is like if I’m gone, take it. Problem solved.
