Today, I’d like to share with you something that has forever changed me and my family: adoption. There are plenty of adoption stories out there and every one of them is unique. Here is our story.
My wife, Susan and I had the great privilege of adopting two children from Russia over ten years ago. With my wife’s encouragement, we talked a lot about it, prayed about it, and ultimately came to the conclusion that we needed to add to our family of three kids already. We wanted to train, instruct, and encourage children who came from broken homes; we wanted to help them to grow in wisdom, and in stature, and in favor with God and man.
