On today’s episode of The Bigspin Podcast I welcome back Nash, owner and founder of Sorry For Fingerboarding and part owner of Index Fingerboard Shop in Chicago. This is Nash’s second time on the podcast, and this episode serves as a catch-up on everything that’s changed since part one. If you want the full history of Sorry For Fingerboarding and a deep dive into Nash’s journey and everything he’s been through with the company, make sure to check out his first episode on The Bigspin!
In this episode we talk about Nash’s move from Visalia, California to Chicago to be part of the Blackriver Chicago store, and how only weeks after moving he found out the shop was closing. Faced with the decision to move back to California or stay and build something new, Nash chose to stay!
Since then, he’s helped launch Index Fingerboard Shop, which is quickly becoming an important part of the Chicago fingerboard scene as they approach their one-year anniversary. We talk about the importance of physical fingerboard shops, the future of Sorry For Fingerboarding as they approach 12 years as a company, his involvement with KNIFE, and everything else going on in his world.
Always a good time having Nash on The Bigspin. Stay tuned for part three!
