Whose story are you living the one the world handed you, or the one you’re here to write? Lately we’ve been unpacking how early beliefs become “truth,” and how easily we outsource our next step to noise: the perfect niche, the perfect avatar, the perfect strategy. Tools matter—books, coaches, conferences have shaped me but they are not my compass. Alignment is. When I try to force my business into someone else’s blueprint, I feel it immediately: heaviness, resistance, chaos. That’s my cue to pause and ask, What is my way? What is my why?
For me, that meant releasing the pressure to serve a single industry and, instead, serving value-based entrepreneurs—humans who build from their core values and crave clarity so they can live them fully. It also meant showing up online as a whole person (mom, wife, nonprofit leader, bookkeeper, coach) instead of corralling myself into separate boxes that don’t fit. Will this path be slower sometimes? Maybe. But it flows. And when it flows, I do my best work, attract the right clients, and stay consistent because it’s aligned, not forced.
If you’re feeling stuck, try this: turn down the noise and ask, What does success look and feel like for me? Where do I feel resistance, and what is it telling me? Then take one aligned step simple, specific, yours. The right way might just be your way. And when you honor that, the work gets lighter, the path gets clearer, and the results compound.
