In this week’s sermon, Rev. Christy Jo shares a message from Luke 6:17-26. In Luke’s gospel Jesus doesn’t preach from the mountaintop but stands in the midst of the people– in the level places of life– bringing good news to the poor and comfort to the weary. On this All Saints’ Sunday, we remember that the kin-dom of God rises not above us but among us, in the sharing of blessings and woes.
