In this episode, Sweetie writes about what was occurring at her home in Doylestown immediately after Easter 1952, and then in the second letter, she writes to her family a story about an issue that had been occurring at the Doylestown Public School involving one of Lewis' first grade classmates and their first grade class teacher, Mrs. Houck.
Finally, at the end of the episode, we get to hear two Mother's Day poems that Sweetie wrote and appended to the second letter.
