This is episode 33 of the Love Sweetie Podcast! This episode features three letters from November 1944. Two of the three letters were written by Sweetie from Hutchinson, Kansas, and the other letter was written by Sweetie's husband, Lew. In this episode, Lew writes to Sweetie's father, Chester Demaree, M.D., regarding some tools that Chester has sent him from Lacona, Iowa, and Sweetie and Lew hope that her sister, Jeanne, will visit them in Hutchinson, Kansas before Thanksgiving 1944. Sweetie also starts to get more concerned that Lew will be sent overseas, but is not sure when that might occur.
