Genesis 40 takes place entirely inside the prison, yet it is filled with divine activity.
Joseph is:
But still confined.

Genesis 40:1–4 — Two Officials Enter the Prison

Genesis 40:23 — Joseph Forgotten
“Yet the chief cupbearer did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.”
Joseph remains in prison two more years.
Covenant Lesson:
Delay does not mean denial—God’s timing is perfect.
