When you hear the word surrender, what comes to mind? Maybe giving up, obedience or submission? In Psalm 25, David describes how we can practically trust the Lord through complete surrender to Him. While surrender requires us to release many of our own fears, desires and attempts at control, what we gain far outweighs what we give up. In fact, surrender can actually be a blessing because when we let go, we discover the depths of God’s love, His guidance and His provision.
