On this Youth Sunday we are reminded of how many faithful, passionate young people are part of Grandview Church. For young people, zeal comes naturally – they are easily excited and filled with passion. This is a great thing, but it can often be misdirected. For others of us who are older and more logical, our passion isn’t misdirected; it’s nearly gone. However, the Bible is filled with calls to be zealous for God and to live a life of spiritual fervour. How can I be zealous for God? What does it look like to serve God with zeal in my particular circumstances? Join us this Sunday as we study Numbers 25 and the example of Phinehas, a young man who was commended by God for his zeal.
