Unity is tricky. The challenge of unity in a country like Canada is the common fact that everyone holds different beliefs. We don’t all think the same. The church is not immune either – we can struggle with unity, too. Paul, in Ephesians 4, makes a significant transition from the wealth of the believer in Christ to the walk of believers. Interestingly, he begins with unity as the marker of living a life worthy of the calling. What is unity? What is it not? And what is your part to play?
