Yesterday’s sermon deeply encouraged me—not only in my personal walk with God, but also in the calling He has placed on my heart for more than 10 years.
Today, I want to take a moment to remind you why we advocate for a cause that is so often overlooked: stillbirth and the families who are left grieving. There are babies who never get the chance to speak for themselves and families whose grief can so easily be forgotten or misunderstood.
But we are not called to remain silent.
In this episode, I talk about the greatest Advocate we have: Jesus Christ. He showed us what it looks like to speak up for those who are hurting, to care for the vulnerable, and to make sure the overlooked are not forgotten. His example challenges us to use our voices—not for ourselves, but for those who cannot speak for themselves.
And next week, I’ll be traveling to Washington, D.C. to continue advocating for stillbirth awareness, prevention, research, and support for grieving families.
As I prepare for this trip, I’m asking you to pray. Pray for the meetings, the conversations, the legislators, and everyone working to make a difference. Most of all, pray that God would give me wisdom, courage, and the right words as I advocate for those who have no voice and for the families who are grieving.
