To bring about the purposes of our Heavenly Father and Savior, angels have been sent from the very beginning to His children here upon the earth. In the early stages of the last dispensation, Joseph Smith was called upon to be the prophet of the restoration. Many doctrines, priesthood power, and other related instruction related to the restoring of the promises made to the ancient fathers were restored through angelic ministrations. Not just any set of angels, the ancient fathers themselves helped to restore this knowledge in the latter days. Adam, Peter, Paul, Moroni, and others were among the numerous visits to Joseph Smith in his lifetime, restoring the lost knowledge, and promises that would once again, unite the whole of our Heavenly Father's family. Praise to the man who communed with the heavens!
