For this week's episode of The Piste Take, we bring on one of track cycling's biggest stars & personalities, Dan Bigham. In our view one of the most influential figures on our sport for the last 20 years, Dan is the current World Team Pursuit Champion with GB, race engineer for Ineos and was the aerodynamicist who turned track cycling on it's head in his time with HUUB Wattbike.
We hear about how Dan and Jonny first met, they reflect on their time working with the Danish Team in the lead up to Tokyo and what has brought Dan back into the fold with the Great Britain Cycling Team. We look ahead to Glasgow Worlds & Paris and how Dan works his life around marriage, impending fatherhood, training and his career with Ineos Grenadiers.
