Romans 8:12–25 invites us to leave behind the exhausting project of self-made holiness and rest in what God, by His Spirit, has promised to do. In this episode, we look at Paul’s argument that we owe nothing to our old way of self-reliance; instead, as adopted children and heirs, we are called to trust the Spirit’s work in us, endure present suffering, and set our hope on the glory that is coming.
