Description

In Matthew 5:9, Jesus says, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." But what does it really mean to be a peacemaker? This episode explains how peacemaking flows naturally from saving faith. When believers truly grasp how God made peace with them through Christ's death on the cross, they become free to extend that same mercy to others. Rather than returning evil for evil, peacemakers absorb the blow and seek reconciliation. This surprising beatitude reveals that those who look weak in the moment are actually the ones who will inherit God's kingdom.

In this week's episode, we explore:

After listening to this episode, you will understand the gospel foundation for peacemaking and why only those who seek reconciliation will inherit God's kingdom. You'll see how your response to insults and wrongs reveals the depth of your faith. Most importantly, you'll grasp how God's mercy toward you in Christ sets you free to absorb the cost of making peace with others, even when it's costly. This teaching will challenge you to examine whether you're responding to conflict like someone who truly believes their inheritance is secure in Christ.
