Description

This is Part 1 of a special 5-part bonus series celebrating one year of Sermons on the Side

In John chapter 21, we find Peter and the disciples in a moment of uncertainty. Jesus has risen. They’ve encountered Him before - but time has passed, direction feels unclear, and Peter defaults to what he knows best: “I’m going fishing.” Instead of trusting what’s next, he returns to what’s familiar.

That’s the story we begin unpacking today.

But since it’s our birthday week, we’re also inviting you to celebrate with us!

Monday’s challenge: write us a birthday card - by leaving a five-star rating and a short review wherever you listen to podcasts (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or anywhere else). It can be one sentence. It can be simple. It can even be honest.

Those reviews matter more than you might realize - they help new listeners find the show, trust the show, and decide to press play.

It’s our way of knowing this podcast matters - and that you’re part of the story

Thanks for the incredible first year, for listening, and for walking this journey with us.
 Part 2 drops tomorrow.
