Alexis discusses her pursuit of a Masters of Divinity out of her love for the Old Testament and the professors whose classes have impacted her. She reflects on how her personal experiences with faith and suffering connect to her academic interests, particularly in exploring the faith of the enslaved through Old Testament scriptures. Alexis also shares insights into her practicum work and her hopes for the future, including her aspiration to become a Bible professor.
