Description

What if the thing keeping you stuck isn’t a lack of self-awareness — but too much of it?

In this episode, I share a story from mile 92 of the Whistler Ironman...when I realized I’d been riding in the wrong gear the entire race, my thighs were on fire, people were passing me, and I had one hour to finish the bike or be disqualified from the entire event.

I couldn’t change the hill...but I could change how much I suffered on it.

That moment became a metaphor for something I see constantly in high-achieving, thoughtful people: we don’t stop striving when we enter the healing world...we just turn that striving inward. Self-awareness becomes another performance, another prison, another version of pressure.

Also called: self-awareness hell.

In this episode, we explore:

Self-amusement is not bypassing or denial. It's an advanced spiritual practice!

If you’ve ever felt trapped in over-analysis, exhausted by “doing the work,” or secretly wondered if healing is supposed to feel lighter than this then this episode is for you!

What’s your jingle for the next hill you’re facing?
