Worship can take many forms, but at its heart it is the adoration of the one true God - and every Christ follower must exhibit worship in their lives. Jesus showed us that worship is not a spectator sport, and it is also not limited to simply singing. Worship is focusing on the Lord and honoring Him with our hearts, minds, bodies, and spirits. Jesus invites us to get off the bench, shed our self-centeredness and cease to worry about what others think. When we are tempted to worship other things, Jesus encourages us to “get in the game,” refocus, and embrace a lifestyle of worship to God.
