In this episode, I talk to Naturopath and owner of Bras Louisville, Chip Gilmour, about the health benefits of breast and/or full body thermography.
Thermography is a technique that uses infrared imagine to detect and measure temperature variations on the surface of an object or area, in this case, the breasts or full body. By capturing the infrared radiation emitted by the body, thermography products a thermal image or "thermogram", where different colors or shades indicate varying temperatures.
Thermography is commonly used in fields like medicine for detecting inflammation or abnormalities. It is non-invasive and can help identify issues that are not visible to the naked eye.
By the time a breast cancer is found, it has already been growing in the body 8-10 years. Thermography may possibly share insight in to abnormalities, so lifestyle changes can be made to course correct or bring the body back in to a healthy alignment.

As the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, thermography along with ultrasound have been my go to for breast health screenings.
