This week we are looking at Ida's life after meeting her husband and having kids. For some women, this would slow down their fight, but not for Ida.
No, if anything being a mother to young black children fueled Ida's fight even more. Even with the threat of the federal government at her back, Ida kept on fighting for what she knew in her heart was right.
May we all take courage from Ida to do what is right, no matter the consequence.
