We are bringing you guys a lighthearted story this week with the tale of John Donohue and his mission to take his friends beer; all the way from New York City, to the battle fields of Vietnam.
John had done his stint in the military but was never placed on the front lines. His friends were though and at the time of his journey, over two dozen neighborhood boys had died in the course of the war.
A suggestion from the local bartender would send John on a months long journey all the way to the front lines of one of the most protested wars in the history of the US. Protest that John was angry at, until he made his journey.
