This is an episode putting myself in the hot seat, and examining how subconscious patterns of behavior have continued to surface in my life over the years. The most important thing is... how do you return to self-care and self-love when those patterns show up?
I have nothing but a deep sense of gratitude to my parents, teachers, coaches, and authority figures over the years who have believed in me and supported me in the best ways that they could. This episode is in no way meant to blame or shame anyone from my past who guided me safely through the early years of my life. I am so blessed, would change nothing, and am able to talk about all of the chapters in my life with a better love and understanding because of those same people.
And I offer my greatest appreciation to the references, guides, and mentors mentioned in this episode who have offered me the tools to continue to bring light to the dark places, expand my awareness, and understand my Self in a more holistic way.
