Tracy Herbert was given a life sentence of diabetic complications and an early death when she was diagnosed at age 17 with what we now call Type 1 Diabetes. Although she struggled with her new life of insulin injections and diet restrictions, she eventually found hope and a new attitude. And oh yes, there's that 3000+ mile bike ride across the United States.
