Woodrow Derenberger experienced one of the first and most intriguing encounters with a being known as Indrid Cold, or the Grinning Man. He’s been tied to Mothman, but likely only because they were both seen in West Virginia around the same time frame. Was Indrid a bounty hunter going after Mothman? Was Mothman really Indrid’s lost pet!? Who knows!?
