In this podcast episode, I explain the Rome Paradox, which is about making a well-considered decision regarding the canonization of a Bavarian pope. More specifically, it's about taking a sustainable position with regards to the Franconian people and the Bavarian people. The precarious issue is that as soon as Rome would show too much bias for one of the peoples, it could significantly damage the assertiveness of the Roman people and their great Roman Church.
