Description

SRF monk Brother Anandamoy conveys Paramahansa Yogananda’s wisdom on right attitude — an essential ingredient for success on the spiritual path.

Filled with humor and deep insight, this talk illustrates how by keeping in mind the divine purpose of life — to reawaken our true nature and ultimately merge in God’s blissful consciousness — we gain the correct perspective on the challenges we face and maintain an all-conquering positivity on our soul-journey to the Divine.

Brother Anandamoy (1922 – 2016) was an international lecturer and beloved minister of Self-Realization Fellowship for many years, and his talks continue to present for students of Paramahansaji’s teachings and spiritual seekers everywhere key insights into the spiritual path.

In this talk Brother Anandamoy refers to Paramahansa Yogananda, guru and founder of Self-Realization Fellowship/Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, simply as “Master,” being a reverential way to address one’s guru and signifying a soul who has achieved full self-mastery.

This talk was recorded on August 6, 1990, at the annual SRF Convocation in Los Angeles.
