Description

Someone always has to handle the hard stuff and sometimes God is looking at us and saying, “You.” That’s the heartbeat of this message from Acts 18:18-28, where we watch the mission of Jesus move forward not only through Paul, but through a married couple with a day job and a gifted teacher who still has plenty to learn.

We trace Paul’s travels and the role of Antioch as a sending church, then slow down to see what real church mission looks like up close: prayerful support, steady encouragement, and the patient work of strengthening disciples. We talk about why evangelism and discipleship must stay together, and why “I can’t go” never means “I can’t be on mission.”

Then we focus on Priscilla and Aquila in Ephesus: tentmakers who open their home, lead with courage, and disciple Apollos by taking him aside and explaining the way of God more accurately. Apollos responds with humility, becomes a stronger witness, and reminds us of a timeless ministry truth Paul later states clearly: we plant and water, but God gives the growth.

If you want a clearer vision for Christian discipleship, Holy Spirit empowerment, and everyday evangelism, listen now, then subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the message.
