Adele Burk has been on the staff at the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) since 2013 and was promoted to her current position of Associate Director of Championships & Compliance in July 2021. She provides administrative support for conference championships, compliance assistance to conference members, manages use of logo marks and licensing, and serves as administrative liaison to the Student-Athletic Advisory Committee.Her previous roles with the NESCAC include serving as Assistant Director from 2016 to 2021 and Director of Media Relations from 2013 to 2016.Prior to joining the NESCAC, she served as Sports Information Director at Oswego State (NY) and a Sports Information Assistant at her alma mater Gustavus Adolphus (MN) after a short stint as a school teacher.Burk sits down with 2021-22 intern Brandon Jones to discuss her career path and what drew her to collegiate athletic communications on this episode of Through My Lens.
