Description

What if the reason life feels overwhelming… is because we’re searching for meaning in a world that can’t give it?

Wake up.
Work.
Fight traffic.
Come home exhausted.
Repeat.

Life can slowly become a cycle that feels more tiring than meaningful.

In Ecclesiastes 1:2, Solomon looked at life from a purely earthly perspective and came to a sobering conclusion: “Vanity of vanities… all is vanity.”

Life can feel like vapor...real, but impossible to hold onto.

You work, build, and strive, yet everything seems to slip through your fingers.

And when suffering enters the picture, the questions grow deeper.

Job lost his wealth, his health, and his children and cried out in despair, asking why he had even been born.

But when Jesus encountered a man born blind, He reframed the question entirely.

Instead of asking “Who sinned?” He said: “That the works of God might be displayed in him.” — John 9:3

What looks meaningless to us may actually be the place where God’s purpose is revealed.

In This Episode:

✅ Why life feels empty when it’s lived only “under the sun.”
✅ What Solomon’s search reveals about success and achievement
✅ How suffering intensifies our search for meaning
✅ Why Jesus reframes suffering from blame to purpose
✅ How God can work through even the hardest seasons

You were never meant to live a life confined to “under the sun.”

You were made by God and for God.

And the meaning your soul longs for isn’t found in the cycle of life—it’s found in the Christ who breaks the cycle.
