It's July 2001 and British couple Peter Falconio and Joanne Lees are making the most of their Australian adventure by hiring a car and taking in the stunning Australian Outback in the Northern Territory.... but, sadly, only one of them would make it out of the state alive.
What happened on that awful July night left a young man dead, a young woman traumatised and divided public opinion on what actually happened. It would be years before a suspect was brought before court, and even then, he denied any involvement, let alone the location of Peter's remains.
