Ireland has made landmark progress in the implementation of AI Act.
“Ireland is building a future where AI is transformative, trusted, and transparent. We’re balancing innovation with safeguards, ensuring AI works for people, not against them.”
That's according to Ministers Peter Burke and Niamh Smyth who announced that 15 National Competent Authorities have now been designated to oversee different aspects of the EU AI Act.
