In this long-listen I sit down with my Harvard Kennedy School colleague Jim Mulhall. We both sat beside one another during this summer's AI and Public Policy class at Harvard.

Jim is a crisis management and risk intelligence leader exploring how artificial intelligence can transform resilience and organisational preparedness. With more than 15 years of leadership across financial services and consulting, he has directed crisis teams, led fraud intelligence programs, and pioneered big data approaches to fraud detection.
Most recently, James served as Vice President and Supervisor of the Crisis Management Group at City National Bank, where he established a dedicated enterprise-wide function integrated with Business Continuity. In this role, he led a cross-functional crisis team, built crisis management infrastructure and protocols, and directed responses to incidents ranging from natural disasters to cyber outages.
