In this episode we continue our journey through the Parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25 — and today we discover one of the most personal and challenging truths Jesus gives us:
👉 Faith can be shared in encouragement — but not transferred in salvation.
👉 Readiness is personal.
In the story, five virgins arrive with enough oil. Five arrive unprepared and ask the others to share. But when the moment comes, the wise cannot hand over their preparedness. The door closes… and the unprepared are left outside.
Jesus’ point hits close to home:
We can be surrounded by faithful people — parents, spouses, friends, pastors — and still miss the Kingdom if we never make their faith our own.
Most importantly, while we can't get ready from the people around us. Jesus can give us all the oil we need. He can make us ready!
