Send us your questions and reflections!
The third servant in the Parable of the Talents refuses to take part in the master’s exploitative way of doing business — and he pays the price for it. But his refusal reveals something essential about discipleship:
Faithfulness is not about success. It is about Christ-likeness.
Jesus is not calling His disciples to produce results at any cost. He is calling them to love like He loves — even when it’s costly. Even when the world rewards the opposite.
To stay awake as we wait for Jesus’ return means we refuse to use people as stepping stones — we serve them as image-bearers. It means we resist systems of exploitation — even when those systems promise profit. It means we mirror the heart of the One we follow — justice, mercy, compassion, truth, and sacrificial love.
This episode invites you to ask a daring question:
In my choices, my relationships, and my everyday life…
Do I reflect the Master — the true Master — Jesus?
