In this anchor point from Be Reconciled to God, we are reminded of Enos’s powerful experience with forgiveness. After wrestling before God, Enos asked a simple but eternal question: “How is it done?” The answer was clear—his sins were forgiven through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
This moment anchors us back to the core of the gospel. Forgiveness, healing, and reconciliation do not come through our own striving alone, but through Christ and His infinite Atonement.
We also reflect on President Russell M. Nelson’s invitation to study the Atonement of Jesus Christ intentionally and consistently—weekly, for the rest of our lives. This anchor point is both a reminder and a renewed invitation:
If you’ve been diligently studying the Atonement, keep going.
If you’ve become lax or distracted, gently begin again.
To be reconciled unto God is to return, to realign, and to remember that everything flows through Jesus Christ. This is an invitation to ponder, study, and allow the Atonement to work more fully in your life—again and again.
