Description

In this Anchor Point from Elder D. Todd Christofferson’s General Conference talk “Look to God and Live,” we explore covenant keeping, prayer, crying unto God continually, gratitude day and night, and making Jesus Christ our highest priority.

What does it truly mean to “look to God”?

It’s not perfection. It’s direction.

Looking to Him means:
• Striving to keep the commandments a little better each day
• Crying unto Him continually in prayer
• Counseling with the Lord in daily decisions
• Letting gratitude shape our hearts
• Choosing His peace over fear and insecurity

We don’t have to master it overnight. We look to Him by trying again. By lifting our eyes instead of lowering them. When insecurity whispers, the invitation is always the same: look up.

We do not look down to find Him.
We look up—to our Father.
We look up—to Jesus Christ.

And as we make Him not just a priority, but the highest priority, His presence steadies our hearts. We remember who we are—children of God—and we feel His peace replace our fear.

Look up. Look to Him. Live.
