Well howdy, buckaroos! Tonight, we're gonna spin a yarn about a time when folks were lookin' at a grand new pasture, but some of 'em got cold feet when they saw the size of the fences.
Now, our friends, the Israelites had been travelin' through the wilderness for a good long spell. God was leading them with a cloud by day and fire by night, each time the cloud would move, they'd have to pack up their tent and move again. But it wasn't meant to be forever, see the Big Bossman had a pretty nice ranch picked out for this bunch. He called it the Promised Land, said it was flowin' with milk and honey, and the richest grazing land you ever did see.
