With rising concern over increasing anxiety and depression in young people, it makes sense to consider what we CAN do to boost mental health and well-being.  In this episode we discuss findings from a 2024 study published in JAMA that shows that people who took more steps---- per day---- consistently reported fewer depressive symptoms.

We discuss the physiological mechanisms behind this relationship between physical movement and improved mood and well-being and how to get started.  Sometimes the best way to improve our mood, is to start by improving our physiology.
