We've been taught to hear scripture through a filter of performance and working harder.
This week, Todd and John bring to light some of the things we've been told for many years about how you must get better, try harder, do more for God and gain His favor or you will never be accepted into His kingdom.
Our eternal home is not determined by what WE do but by WHO Jesus is and what He's done for us. Quit trying so hard and putting all that guilt and shame on yourself.
God's GRACE covers a multitude of our bad behavior and thoughts about our inadequacies. We are made in HIS image and He meets us where we are. Not where we put ourselves.
