Description

Between his work at WNEW-FM and WFAN, Richard Neer has been synonymous with New York radio since 1971.

As a disc jockey, music director, and ultimately program director at WNEW-FM, Richard helped shape the history of rock radio through the 1970's and 1980's before taking his love of sports with him to WFAN, the legendary all sports station.

He's also a published author with well over a dozen novels to his credit.

Hosts Jim Monaghan and Chris Swendeman talk with Richard about the various changes he has seen in radio over the years with anecdotes about Scott Muni, Bruce Springsteen, and more.
