What would change if you finally let yourself wear the dress — or whatever you’ve been too scared to try? On this week’s BabyGay™ Podcast, host PJ Brescia (they/them) sits down with Ross Alan (they/them), a nonbinary singer-songwriter blending Midwest country roots with disco energy into their signature “country disco” sound.

Growing up in small-town Ohio, Ross struggled with faith, identity, and the pressure to hide their queerness. Now based in Los Angeles, they share their coming out story, what it means to identify as nonbinary, and the therapy breakthrough that helped them finally give themselves permission to live fully and out loud.

PJ and Ross talk about deconstructing Christianity, coming out without a dramatic “moment,” embracing gender expression in public for the first time, and why crying isn’t weakness...it’s a superpower.

Ross’s latest single “Loveland” is dropping this Valentine’s Day season on Friday, 2/13!
