In this episode, Posture Ellie discusses what we mean when we say 'posture'. Contrary to popular belief, it's NOT about yanking your shoulders back and thrusting your chest upwards. Posture is your movement patterns, your state of being and how you show up to everything that you do. You can't create good posture through sitting still or holding yourself with artificial rigidity in certain places, both these things only create more tension and dysfunction. She debunks 'posture' gimmicks (like back braces, lumbar support and expensive ergonomic chairs) and walks us through the four main causes of postural pains.
