👻 Turn down the lights. Get comfortable.

Actually...

Maybe leave the lights on.

Because Nalee has officially taken control of Twin Tangents for spooky season—and Anthony was apparently drafted without his consent.

This week, Nalee brings three disturbing stories to the table. The catch?

Anthony has absolutely no idea what's real, what's legend, and what's complete bullshit.

He gets the story. He gets to interrogate the details. He gets to develop his theories.

And only after he's committed to an answer does Nalee reveal the truth.

👉 Audio listeners: You can listen to this one—but watching Anthony try to process what Nalee is telling him while she enjoys every second of his discomfort adds an entirely different layer of entertainment.

We're talking:

✈️ The Ghost on the Plane → A devastating 1972 plane crash. Salvaged aircraft parts. Dead crew members allegedly appearing aboard other planes. And Anthony immediately getting hung up on whether you're legally allowed to reuse parts from a crashed airplane. Priorities.

🪓 The House → Eight people murdered in their sleep. An axe left behind. A case that remained unsolved. And a house where visitors would later report footsteps, voices, moving objects, children laughing and the unmistakable feeling that they're being watched.

🌲 When the Internet Lies to Us → Search-and-rescue stories, unexplained encounters and the wonderfully unsettling world of creepypasta—stories deliberately written to make you wonder whether somebody is sharing fiction...or confessing something that actually happened.

🧠 How easily can your brain betray you? → If you've already heard that a place, object or plane is haunted, does that change what you think you see? And once a story gets repeated enough times, how much harder does it become to separate documented history from legend?

👻 Do Anthony & Nalee actually believe in ghosts? → Apparently the answer is complicated. Because believing something could exist and volunteering to spend the night alone in a house where eight people were murdered are two VERY different things.

😂 And then there's Twin Tangents → Haunted laptops. Failed scary voices. Technical difficulties suspiciously arriving during ghost stories. Inappropriate jokes. Anthony realizing spooky stories don't scare him nearly as much as actually experiencing something—and Nalee immediately encouraging the ghosts to fix that problem.

Somewhere between a real plane crash surrounded by ghost stories, an unsolved murder, creepy internet lore and supposedly cursed objects with stories that aren't quite what they seem...

One thing becomes very clear:

Sometimes the scariest part isn't the ghost.

It's realizing that at least part of the story you're hearing actually happened.

And once you know which part is real?

Good luck unknowing it.

Quick disclaimer: This episode contains discussions of death, murder, plane crashes, paranormal activity, creepy internet stories, questionable historical facts, Anthony saying “fuck no” to spending the night in a murder house, and Nalee enjoying his suffering significantly more than a good friend probably should.

We're not paranormal investigators.

We're just two people with microphones who have now given ourselves several new reasons to check the hallway, the closet and underneath the bed before going to sleep.

🎙️ Motto of the week:

You don't have to believe every scary story you hear.

But maybe don't go investigating the knock in the middle of the night either.
