Have you ever looked at your life and wondered, “Why am I still here?”
You know God gave you direction. You know there’s something He told you to start, leave, build, confront, or pursue—but for some reason, you still haven’t moved.
In Deuteronomy 1, the Israelites found themselves at Horeb, a place where God had met them, taught them, and prepared them. But eventually, God gave them a clear instruction: “You have stayed long enough at this mountain.”It was time to break camp and move toward what He had promised.
In this Freedom Girls Takeover message, we unpack what can keep us stuck in a season God never intended to become our final destination—and what it takes to finally make the next move.
In this message, you'll discover:
• How comfort can keep you in a season God has already called you out of
• Why something can be good for one season and become disobedience in another
• How to recognize when preparation has become a place of permanence
• Why courage isn't the absence of fear
• How remembering God's faithfulness gives you confidence for what's next
• Why obedience has a cost—but staying stuck has a cost too
• How one act of obedience can impact people beyond you
• Why you don't need the entire plan to make your next move
Courage isn't waiting until you are no longer afraid. Courage is refusing to let fear make the decision.
Maybe you've been comfortable. Maybe you've been afraid. Maybe you've been calculating what obedience will cost you. But eventually, the question has to change from “Why am I still here?” to "What am I going to do next?”
You don't have to make every move today.
But you do have to make the next one.
