Professional boxing and MMA referee Todd Murray joins Barrett Freeman on PropertyTales to talk about what it’s really like to officiate the Redneck Brawl.
Todd is an ABC-certified official, a Tennessee and South Carolina Athletic Commission referee and judge, and an ISKA event representative. He’s the guy in the ring when the Brawl gets wild — first-time fighters, slobberknockers, and crowds that don’t sit still.
He walks through how you keep a Redneck Brawl fight under control, the difference between a sanctioned amateur card and a regular boxing or MMA show, and the nights that stick with him after the bell.
